Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: he won't remember that conversation with her. he will remember the ensuing one that relates directly to it though, with a fatally wounded cardeas vist. he won't recognize the man himself, but he'll recognize that they're standing in the unicorn's cockpit. before cardeas would hand the gundam over to him, he asks one thing:

"The burden she bears is immense. You need the resolve to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders if you wish to go with her. Do you still...?"

to which he replies:

"I don't have confidence or resolve. I just know I want her to need me."

Reason for Echo: encounter with the blood keys, currently being plotted with ez and luci.

What is returned: a piece of psycoframe + boost in newtype skills. INCOMING TL;DR I'M SO SORRY

at the time of banagher's canon, the psycoframe is still not a widely used piece of technology. in fact, it was discontinued because there were "too many unknowns." it's basically the metal framework of a mobile suit's cockpit, with psycommu receptors built into it at an atom level. psycommu (psychic communicator) receptors harness the brainwaves of newtypes (as outlined in the abilities section of his app) and amplify them, translating them into direct computer code where necessary. three years earlier, during the events of char's counterattack when the psycoframe was brand new, it was demonstrated that it was possible to carry around a single, manageable-sized piece of it, mostly with the same effect. heightened reflexes, quicker reaction times, and the ability to sense the presence of others. the psycoframe is also capable of generating a phenomenon known as a psyco-field, which is where it absorbs the intense emotions of its pilot (or pilots, or just anyone being feelingsy in its general proximity) and creates a "a unique spacial phase around an area of space, in which human consciousness is capable of manifesting as physical phenomena." it's stated that this instance defies the laws of physics, and within this space, it's possible for another person's emotions or memories to be directly experienced.

i'd like banagher to get back a bite-sized piece of the unicorn's psycoframe comparable to the image linked above (instead of being installed just around the cockpit, the unicorn is basically made of psycoframe -- all that red glowing stuff), along with an 'upgrade' in his newtype ability that'll let him generate a (very weak, though functional) psyco-field.

(THIS IS STUPID YEAH RIGHT!) He will be full on infatuated with the movie on a very singular level. It's honestly kind of worrisome.

He will also recall, with vivid detail (if absolutely zero fucking context), the most dramatic reenactment of said scene, as performed by his past self.

Reason for Echo: Recurrence - starting to wrestle with identity issues and declaring that damn it, he's himself. On a route distinct from the one I'm taking him from Yuuya gives advice on this which seems to be very personal to him. By the time of the games he seems to have himself figured out.
Type and tier: Memory/knowledge, Tier One.
What is returned: The knowledge that Yuuya's mother is high in the peerage and his father was much lower class. On one side he can trace his ancestry back to pre-flu times, it's "pure", on the other he's not sure of his grandparents. To some people that's important, especially nobility.

...and he rejects the nobility, any place he might have among them, and the whole concept that purity of breeding and who you're descended from so defines your worth. There's a sense that it might have taken a long time to get to that without thinking that he's rejecting his mother and part of himself, and he's had identity issues of his own which he now feels are resolved.

Ultimately, "There's a lot more to worry about than who you are. You are yourself. Never let anyone tie you down."
