Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: Mamizou's pipe, along with Mamizou's collection of powerful, magical youkai weed.
Note: The latter half of this isn't canonical, but!
1) Mamizou does canonically has a pipe with her a lot of the time, so she's clearly not averse to some sort of substance usage,
2) She came from a magical island populated entirely by magical creatures with strange and mysterious powers, so any substances she DID have would absolutely be far beyond this mortal realm,
3) Japan historically has a cannabis tradition dating back to the Neolithic Jomon Period, and
4) Shit'll be hilarious.

What is returned: Her necklace and iPad like device. The necklace is because of him showing her the insignia that her necklace was shaped like.

The iPad operates and does what Enter's laptop (also something he shows her)does canonly. This being she can normally use it to make Metaroids/monsters. She wouldn't be able to power it on or work it without Enetron, so it's going to be virtually useless in it's current state.

Having his Cruxis Crystal will also allow him to perform Divine Judgment, but it'll be trial and error until he figures out how to do it properly (and considering it's so flashy he's going to have a hard time finding places to work that out). When he equips his Cruxis Crystal it's also going to start slowly sucking his soul out, but he won't know that. This isn't going to affect him noticeably immediately, but if he doesn't get his keycrest back within the next few months he'll start to become less emotional and more "robotic".

What is returned: This is how you die. WHAT A CHEERFUL MEMORY, RIGHT.

Reason for Echo: Ravi's exploration thing (exploration)
Type and tier: Ability, 1.
What is returned: Building up on her foot-sight deal, she'll be able to read people's vital signs kind of - breathing and heart rate, basically, which in canon she uses to tell when people are lying to her or not. Though if someone's a good enough liar that neither of those things change (see: AZULA'S OBVIOUS LIES, to prove that Toph couldn't tell when she was lying, to which Toph admitted she was good).

Sophie will probably use this power to annoy the hell out of people she knows, because that's her job.

What is returned:

Baa awareness: An innate awareness of the level of baa Bakura has. Normally Baa only goes down when Diabound is hit, but due to the limitations on him in game at the moment, it will also go down as he uses his abilities.

Tied to this, I'd like to mix in that Bakura's max Baa levels go up with every echo from Thief King Bakura he gets back. This would cause a very gradual lifting of restrictions (since in canon, Diabound can be out and about and use his abilities with no limits as long as TKB is awake and aware and not on the verge of death)

What is returned: Being in a seemingly sealed chamber with transparent walls and few furnishings (a podlike bed, a table with a radio, and a talking toilet what the hell.), and greeted by a seemingly recorded voice.

Also, the tune that the radio was playing during that memory is going to wedge itself firmly in her head for a couple days. Earworms, man.

Reason for Echo: Exploring under the Tuning Towers, as part of TEAM DISTRACT PEOPLE.
Type and tier: Tier 2, Physical/Ability
What is returned: Shiro gains the ability to grow claws from his fingertips. These claws are long, black, sharp, and able to leave marks in steel. Additionally, he regains the ability to sense "reiatsu" (spiritual pressure). A sixth sense of sorts, used by Hollows for finding prey and avoiding bigger Hollows, the ability allows Shiro to judge a person's strength of soul, as well as tell if they're living or dead. In general, supernatural creatures have stronger reiatsu than normal humans. For now he'll have no idea what it is or how to describe it, and will probably ICly think of it as an improvement to his sense of smell at first.

Reason for Echo: Underground exploration mission, exploration team; if something horribly untoward happens, it'll trigger at exactly the right moment to make people not die. Otherwise, whenever everyone else triggers, because reasons.

What is returned: [Memory + Power] A specific sequence of brief memories, mostly flashbacks to when Rikka and Mana were very young and Rikka's parents had just moved into the house next door; their parents introduced them to each other, and Mana pretty much bonded with her right away. Winter will remember the mental comment "I can go far with her," probably referring to Mana in context, and then she'll have a new shiny Lovies to use for her first actual magical ability: Twinkle Diamond, an ice ray. It has a little bit of startup time and isn't particularly spectacular, but it's definitely something. As with everything else, Winter needs to be in her form as Cure Diamond to use this ability, and if Raquel isn't around she can't use it.

Reason for Echo: Thread I can't link while I'm on mobile; Banagher asked her what her favorite flavor of shaved ice. That happens to have been something that came up in canon.

What is returned: The memory of a summer festival with herself, Mana, and three other several other girls (the rest of her team, not that she knows that), each with a different flavor of shaved ice, and each sharing between each other, because, according to Mana, and which she'll remember, "it tastes better when you share it".

Reason for Echo: This conversation. In canon, when Fei and Elly meet up, he says her name without any prompting or prior information. He already knows her name, even if he doesn't realize it at the time.

What is returned: Simply the knowledge of her name and a certainty that he already knew it when she told him.

Reason for Echo: This conversation, particularly the most recent comment. Fei and Elly, upon their first meeting, have a conversation where he makes the same observation, practically word for word.
Type and tier: Memory, tier 1
What is returned: Remembering the conversation almost immediately following pointing a gun at Fei, where these same words are said. The implication here is that, while she did shoot, she misses him by a mile. She'll also remember the fight immediately following, when she was jumped by forest gnomes.

What is returned: a) Pigeon hearing, b) Pigeon... emergency time perception.

He's already got pigeon ear inner anatomy and hair cell regeneration. Pigeon hearing isn't particularly sharper than in humans, but they can hear vastly lower frequencies. Low frequency sounds carry far further than higher ones. A pigeon in the center of the continental US can hear the ocean on the East, West, and Gulf Coasts, and the wind against the chains of the Rocky and Appalachian Mountains, extending hundreds of miles. Also audible in this way: auroras, explosions, storms, waterfalls, meteors, earthquakes and volcanoes, tornadoes, some kinds of engine, the various animals that communicate with low frequency sound. Incoming tsunamis, seismic events, and tornadoes can be heard minutes to hours before they can be detected by human senses. It's how many animals can sense these things coming.

Also, avian temporal sensitivity is ten times more acute than in humans. Sounds too fast and complicated for humans to really grasp are heard with much greater fidelity and complexity. With enough practice Julien might become exceptional at vocal analysis and more precise imitations. Temporal sensitivity ties into the next bit:

Birds see faster, hear faster, and can produce sounds faster than humans can. Their reflexes are faster. Bold ones seem to wait until the last possible second to move out of the way, and they can fly swiftly and surely through chaotic tight spaces like underbrush, that require tilting and folding wings out of the way to pass through.

So, this is not quite superspeed, since only his voice and senses can entirely keep pace. And it's not that everything is always in slow motion, either. But if something moves quickly enough to startle him, or he is alarmed, Julien's perceptions speed up briefly, so that the world seems to move at one tenth its normal rate. Humans have a little of this already, when there's a crisis and sometimes the world seems to slow briefly. But like this it's more pronounced, happens more often, and can to some extent be controlled.

What is returned: He will be regaining his Aquaman suit, minus any context as to what it is other than his. He will also be regaining the superheroic physique necessary to pull this off, although he will initially attribute it to his new vegetarian diet working out really well for him all of a sudden. Basically, he'll suddenly be in peak physical condition without actually having to work for it, much to the delight of everyone who has had an unpleasant physical Echo, I'm sure.

Reason for Echo: Regina taking part in distracting the cops during Ravindra's Tuning Towers expedition

What is returned: Let's start with the mental part first. This time, there's a brief second where she smiles at a boy with black hair and purple eyes as she tries to insert a tracking device on to him, but suddenly there are scattered flashes of a casino here and there, with herself dressed in a bunny suit for some reason, getting her hair roughly pulled by a sleazy-looking casino owner. Cut to her sucker punching the owner in the face and doing a fancy crane kick to knock him down, then it also cuts to her doing mid-air flips to beat up a small group of men in black suits until the visions end with her grabbing a boy's wrist and dragging him away.

By the way, this echo marks the very first time Regina actually sees Lelouch, and no, she won't know who the heck he is, but for some reason there's the need to save him from something. She also won't know exactly why she dressed up in a bunny suit to begin with.

Now here's the physical part: she now gains the ability to do some dramatic gymnastic maneuvers such as mid-air flips! To make things fair, they'll be at around 45% gained.

Reason for Echo: chloe introducing herself to blaine and triggering blaine's echo about the name she gives not being her real one.
Type and tier: memory, tier 1.
What is returned: when blaine accuses her of lying about her name (something that's happened countless times between them in canon) chloe will remember that she used to go by the name christa renz. something about this will feel like a lie.

Reason for Echo: being part of the exploration team on ravi's tuning towers expedition.
Type and tier: item, tier 1.
What is returned: her 3DMG. no knowledge whatsoever on how to put it on or use it.
