Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

Character: Julien/Yuuya
Reason for Echo: Being given some of Amrita's purple roses.
What is returned: A potted miniature rosebush with small, deep violet, strongly scented blossoms. Not of an existing variety and possibly genetically altered, but also not possessed of any special properties. The pot is decorated in ways pleasing to bird eyes and is quite lightweight, as is the hydroponic medium the rosebush is rooted in, but they too don't have secret special properties.

Deeply colored purple roses aren't impossible, but they're certainly not common, and Julien's never seen one in person before. Yuuya associates himself with them to some degree.

Reason for Echo: Going on an investigative mission to the reservoir. As a secret agent, Yuuya was on all kinds of missions all the time, alone or coordinating with teams, and his specialty was information retrieval.
What is returned: His iPon smartphone, a durable water- and fall- resistant model. Made for birds it's smaller and lighter and made of somewhat different materials than anything on our market, and needs only sunlight to recharge. Unfortunately this does not come with the memory of its password, or his skill at bypassing passwords, so it's not at all useful just now.

Yuuya basically always took his phone along on missions, the better to coordinate, keep in touch with various people, and help him hack into things.

Reason for Echo: canon recourrance: seeing the glowing pink water in this post

What is returned: The knowledge that the planet Cybertron (And the name of that planet) was left bereft of all its energy resources somehow and was left a mostly dead planet, but not what caused it or how, what the planet Cybertron was like, or... really anything at all

Basically that somewhere there's a planet named Cybertron and its energy resources have been completely drained.

What is returned: His handwriting has turned from a lazy scrawl to extraordinarily fancy cursive, which is "instantly recognizable."

Reason for Echo: Contaminated tap water. Which she will drink on purpose because she's dumb.
What is returned: A memory of being impaled by swords while suspended in the air. She could hear them whispering the word witch over and over again. Based on this scene from Utena (start at the link and watch the next thirty seconds, roughly).

Reason for Echo: A direct mention of the Reaper's Game by Neku! Which I intend to tag, of course.
What is returned: A memory from the scene from Week 1, Day 7, where Beat sneaks out to find Uzuki and Kariya.

Uzuki: Bleh. Day 7 is such a yawn. Not enough Players left, you know?
Koki: See? This is why I pace myself. Work too hard and you run out of work.
U: Yeah… We did rack up a ton of points this week.
K: And on the seventh day…we rest. The first day of many days off, I hope.
B: Yo…
U: Who’s there? …You!?
B: ……
U: We toasted your partner--you should be smoke by now!
K: Make another pact?
B: ……
U: So, like, what? You thirsty for revenge?
B: No!
U: …Huh? Then what do you want?
B: ……Answers. Tell me what I need to know!
U: You do realize…you’re in no position to make demands?
B: ……
U: I could erase you with my little finger.
B: ……
K: Aight, Skulls… You ask. Maybe we’ll answer.

B: What does it take? How do you Reapers do it!?

He will remember most of what's said, but not the Reaper's names, faces or where they were. They'll basically be silhouettes in his mind, so the only thing of their appearance he'll remember is the wings.

Reason for Echo: HOLY FUCK THEY'RE REAL (he's seen sharp teeth on TV and in comic books but THIS GUY IS ON A LIVE FEED DANG)
What is returned: Flashes of images of various Heartless that also have fearsome jaws. And when I mean flashes, I do mean quick, half-second to second long flashes with no context. In order: Grand Ghost, Search Ghost, Trick Ghost, Hot Rod, Prison Keeper, Darkball, Shadow Stalker, Dark Thorn, and Infernal Engine. The Infernal Engine is VERY fuzzy and indistinct, as though the memory doesn't quite want to come back.

Reason for Echo: Ok, just seeing his face wouldn't have been enough, but that plus the beanie plus his signature BWAAAAA? There has to be something.
What is returned: The impression that he's seen this guy in a dark town with bright lights. No names, no sense of location, just an impression.

Character: Miles Edgeworth
Reason for Echo: Naoto's post about Candy's disappearance, mostly the mention of the police chief being involved in the murder of Paul Ben.
What is returned: A memory of a case that involved another police chief, Damon Gant, who committed murder. He'll remember the very end of the case where he and Phoenix got Gant to confess to the murders of Bruce Goodman and Neil Marshall and he'll also remember Gant's words to him saying that they were the same and they both hated criminals and one day Edgeworth would understand. Edgeworth will also recall the sheer horror he felt at hearing those words.

And because of Gant's tendency to give people nicknames, Edgeworth will mistakenly think Phoenix's name is Wrighto and be confused about that as well.

Reason for Echo: delayed reaction from the tainted water
What is returned: A memory of the alternate future the Ellimist showed the Animorphs in The Stranger, which will give Alex basic information about the war in Ax's world: that it's been going on for his whole life, and that the enemy is a race of sluglike creatures who control their hosts. It'll also make him think the good guys lost, because I'm evil like that.

Reason for Echo: Accidentally drinking the water after trying to avoid it. :T The problems with not being able to see the drinks your parents hand you and automatically accepting them.
What is returned: What Is Bending 101: Bending is a thing that allows people to control the elements. There are four types: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Sophie doesn't get knowledge of any of the sub-bending types (sandbending, metalbending, swampbending, lightningbending...) nor does she get any idea she's a bender or how one would go about bending, but just the general "hey this is totally a thing, and it rocks". She doesn't know about the Avatar/four-element bender, though. sounds like a giant CHEATER, though.

What is returned: The following dialogue, along with the memory of his hand being held in front of him. The other's person extends their hand with a countdown on it.

Neku: C'mon, keep up. In the Game.

Character: Danny Fenton
Reason for Echo: Canon reoccurence--Danny's parents have been building a large sign on their house proclaiming "FENTONWORKS" on it. They have also, for the first time, decided to try building a test coaster that expands to the roof of their house.

It doesn't look exactly like his house in canon, of course, but the expansion of his parents' business and proclamation of their name to the outside of their home, so that anyone who walks by knows exactly who lives there and what is going on inside, will give Danny a sense of deja vu.

What is returned: A strong sense in his mind that there is a town called Amity Park in Illinois and that it's a mid-sized city. The nagging feeling that his house is supposed to look even more outrageously unsafe and ridiculous.

Character: Toni/Naoto
Reason for Echo: Finding out that the chief and a detective were involved in Candy's disappearance plus her conversations with Nick and Alex in her post, particularly about the invaders.
What is returned: Tohru Adachi. Basically his appearance, that he's a detective too, that he's responsible for the kidnappings and deaths of a few people and he does have murderous impulses behind the unassuming face, but not his voice, name, motives, number of victims or method. She'll also know that he's been working for creatures that aren't human, and that there's something really off about him. Just not what it is, or who he works for.

Obviously, Adachi is human, but he's been working for things that aren't, being indirectly responsible for the murders and kidnappings and attempting to bring the Fog World into the Human World. I think the fact that the chief and the detective are working for non-human entities in really shifty ways is enough to ping her for Adachi. He's also been possessed by one of these entities, which is the "something really off" part about him.

Reason for Echo: Talking with Ryan about how they might have known each other in their past lives, leading to Ryan telling Alan he'll have to work hard if he wants to save lives.
What is returned: The scene this conversation parallels: during hand-to-hand combat training, Reiner lectures Eren on a soldier's duty to protect others.
