What is returned: Her wings. Which may be huge and bright blue and shed fairy dust like nobody's business, but they're not an instant masquerade-breaker: through means that are never actually explained, Vriska was able to hide them under her clothes even though that shouldn't be physically possible (and it's not just artistic convenience - it's explicitly mentioned in one of the walkarounds that trolls could hide their god tier wings and keep them a secret). She's also shown displaying them through clothes that really shouldn't be able to do so! So, uh. Magical wings that can be hidden or not as the bearer wishes, as long as they're covering them with something? Idk, man. Homestuck.

Ideally she'll be able to fly with them (as in canon), but will be unable to do so without leaving an incredibly obvious trail of fairydust hanging in the air. Which means she'll be limited to only doing it in emergencies or in the privacy of her own room. USEFUL, WOW
