That was my bad on wording it poorly. Normally Sandrath uses a vessel to contain his essence, since it is a dark, featureless form that melds to the body he is residing in. No one sees it unless the body is damaged a fair bit, like a deep wound. It acts like a temporary bandage for the injury until he can tend to it.

After taking some time to think about it, I realized I might have jumped the gun with the 2nd echo request. So, I'll be redacting that echo for later use with a better situation.
