I'll go ahead and grant this (and pacing isn't really an issue here), I'd just request Arthur not be, uh... general-tier quite yet, if that makes sense, since he's still relatively new. So I'd suggest making him pretty good at strategy, but not quite at the level of a seasoned soldier yet. He can get better at it later, of course.
