Player: Joysweeper Character: Julien/Yuuya! Reason for Echo: Canon recurrence. Julien's left the game area to attend a wedding and will be back in a few days, regaining everything then. He'll then realize there's a pretty painless way to not be a part of this whole confusing mess - he could just leave - and that will be a quandary. Eventually he'll decide to stay.
The option to unnaturally forget something that's painful to him came up in canon. Yuuya rejected it instantly, treating it as a huge deal when pressed. He can't change the past or his actions in it, and the least he can do is remember. Even though that gives him pain, that pain is part of him. He chooses to remember, always. (sorry, Yuuya, you'll remember again one day. But not yet.) What is returned: A pigeon heart. ...Scaled up to fit his body, so he doesn't die. And I guess relevant vein and artery alterations so different pressures and so on don't cause complicated medical issues.
Proportionally a pigeon's heart is more than twice the mass of a human's, more muscular, designed somewhat differently. It's more efficient, pumping more blood per beat, and it's slower at a resting rate, but better at beating faster for a long period of time.
...not gonna have much effect on Julien for now, have to say. It'd help him be a better athlete, especially combined with bird lungs, but he's not exactly called upon to be an athlete, so far. I'm building up cumulative stuff.
