Diabound is the game's first summoned being, and as such, its powers need to be limited enough to keep things fair for the other players. When the Echo was first granted, it was with the stipulation that it would be a long time before it could do anything else, and we don't feel that the time or current tone of the game is right for Diabound to regain abilities.
