Reason for Echo: I only used one Echo from the sage plot, so can I use the other now?
What is returned: This one's a memory: the last time Ax saw his brother Elfangor. To sum up: The Andalite ship they were both serving on got to Earth, and almost immediately engaged a Yeerk ship in battle. Ax was too young to fight, so he was sent to a part of the ship that later had to be detached, and ended up crashing into the ocean on Earth. But all Alex would get right now would be the conversation, the knowledge that his other self never saw his brother again, and confirmation that the other-him is an alien, since he'd extrapolate from his brother's appearance. :)
