Orpheus has a very basic skill set, consisting of a light physical damage attack, Bash, that depletes health, a light fire-based attack, Agi, that depletes SP, or mental... energy I guess is the best way to put it? And a skill called Tarunda that lowers a single enemy's attack power. It also makes him weak to dark and electricity based magic.

All in all he's pretty weak.

I should also note when i said "it makes people useless for a week after" that a week was a vague estimation of about the time it might take for someone to recover and i realize that now i am having a time with words tonight....
