Player: Gilbert
Character: Gabriel/Glorfindel
Reason for Echo: Wise snake!
Type and tier: Item/ability, Tier 2
What is returned: His sword from Gondolin and the ability to use it. The canonical swords we have from the city are Sting, Glamdring and Orcrist (from left to right, Sting is a knife rather than a sword) so it would look similar to the three of them. I'm making this up entirely, but there's no description: it would have a blade similar to Sting's, and a hilt more like Glamdring's. It'd be two handed and glow blue in the presence of orcs, though that's unlikely to be relevant anytime soon.

Reason for Echo: Giant bloody reptiles destroying the city echoes giant bloody reptiles destroying his city in Gondolin because apparently all the Tolkiens have had trauma of this description
Type and tier: Memory, tier 1
What is returned: He'll remember that the city he called home was destroyed, linked his last memory, which was of the start of the attack

Character: Åsa/Finland
Reason for Echo: Wise snake
Type and tier: Ability, tier 2
What is returned: Part of her nationhood: the physical connection to the land. This means she'll be physically hardier and able to stay awake/not eat or drink and maintain physical activity longer than someone her size (or any human) ought to. Should she go without she'll still crave sleep/nourishment and feel tired, but her physical existence is now linked to the land of Finland. This means that should Finland suffer a disaster (ie freak weather or some man made disaster such as a nuclear explosion) she'll feel it physically as well. Linked into this is her physical strength; she'll also become much stronger than her size dictates. She'll be able to lift an average sized man without strain, and could just about carry two (assuming one on her back and one in her arms) over a short distance (100m or so). So about 300lb maximum.

tldr; she'll be connected to the land of Finland so she can endure while it does and she'll be strong.
