He wouldn't try to fight it directly, no, but he'll be trying to retrieve Octavia's body while it's rampaging out of fear that it'll crush her and she won't be able to revive. Which could include climbing over it at some point to get at her, as I would hate to miss an opportunity to climb over a giant monster even if he's not crazy enough to stab it!

BUT. If this isn't enough, I'm okay with reshuffling things and making the Phalanx fight/Dormin chunk the plot echo and nixing the parkoury skills for now!
