Reason for Echo: canon recurrence; seeing that above photo for the first time Type and tier: tier 2; power+sort of memory (for august) What is returned: Shintaro always had a dormant power inside of him that activated the first time he saw this picture. Upon seeing the same picture in his Locke apartment, he will gain that back. The power is actually memory retention, and before its activation it had been storing up Shintaro's memories from the timeloops he had lived through; activating it released the seal that was on them. By gaining back his power, Shintaro will also gain back the same memories his past self did.
