It also comes along with a decreased heart rate even during times of high activity, as well as decreased water and salt depletion.
And it comes with occasional "episodes" of suspended animation where he basically blanks out for minutes at a time, with very minimal heart rate, no breathing, cold skin, and all the appearances of being dead. He is completely nonresponsive during these episodes, waking only when they're finished.
