to be honest I'm not certain without checking all the way back through every thread about it if anybody has brought up immortality in general, but I thought that since they were talking about immortals being among the numbered it made sense. (like the inference is "not all of us are immortals" = "some of us are") but! it's not really that important to me, honestly. Skip it if it takes too much brain work.
