Player: Jessica
Character: Anthony Sparado
Reason for Echo: Recurrence, Doppel!Lazarus gloating about his conquests and exploits so shamelessly with no sense of compassion whatsoever is extremely similar to, well, pretty much every demon bad guy monologue ever.
Type and tier: Tier 1, mental/memory.
What is returned: Fake!Lazarus' disgusting exposition so closely parallels the mindset most often displayed by demons or those that aspire to become/work for them that the familiarity and disgust invoke a strong sense of justice. The understanding that that sort of mentality is what sets apart humans and demons, and that to succumb to it is a quick trip to the land of no return. That the temporary "power" gained from such actions is fleeting, and ultimately superficial.

Basically it is the beginning of understanding the nature of souls. Not that he'll necessarily understand that bit just yet.

Also you know, any reasonable person's reaction of "ew you're so gross".

Player: Just gonna edit this on so I don't spam too much~
Character: Still Tony
Reason for Echo: Late plot echo for meeting a doppelganger or twenty.
Type and tier: Tier one, ability
What is returned: Heightened sense of smell! It's implied in canon that Dante's capable of smelling things that humans may miss, mainly demons. It doesn't seem to indicate he's got anything crazy like a bloodhound nose, but strong enough to differentiate between species or identify if someone is in a room with him he can't see. Barring them disguising their scent of course. Of course it also shows he can be overwhelmed by certain smells and absolutely hates cigarette smoke, it's so awful.

Say hello to a future of "did you really need to bathe in your cologne ugh".
