I'm pretty familiar with Homestuck! :D Due to how the reincarnation works here, in this case the different Jacks would indeed be considered separate characters, since they are from different universes. Therefore, if you choose to app him, he'd have to be reincarnated from one of the specific sessions' version of the dude.
