Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: More memories of Diabound/the first battle with the Pharaoh and his priests, including that Diabound has abilities based on the wishes of the soul it was born from. This specific one is the ability to move through walls and take Theif King with him.

Also, since it's shown in that same scene, can he get the knowledge that if Diabound is hurt, he gets hurt as well? (this page) Basically reinforcing that Diabound is part of his soul. If not, can use that for his next Diabound related one.

Reason for Echo: Touching the pillar
What is returned: Memories of a particularly nasty rampage when he was the Joker Undead. He rampages around, seals several other Undead into cards in rapid succession, and then starts stomping towards a little girl like she's next. The memory ends there, before another Kamen Rider comes to save her. He's mostly going to remember being in this monstrous form, the feeling of being out of control, and of almost trying to kill a little girl who was crying for someone named Hajime to come rescue her. (Basically, this up until the transforming guy shows up.)

What is returned: Knowledge of how to convert energy into Energon, specifically the Generation 1 type. Basically, how to convert pure energy into a liquid state that isn't quite matter.

*e* Also, two vague memories -- one, of getting increasingly frustrated at a lecture at the Academy of Science, but without the context of "We're all giant robots" and another of drilling into the Earth in Antarctica in bitter cold but not FEELING that cold, and of some asshole hitting her in the head with a pink cube (but again, without robot context, all as vague impressions)

Reason for Echo: going for that snake statue because what it not visiting shady areas.
What is returned: his newtype ability, though it'll be faint at first. for the immediate future it'll be more like vague precognitive empathy. which is not very useful at all, but hey, feels gotta feel. if approved, i'll make a permissions post for it.

and a question about it if it is approved: once he has it, is it possible for it to develop on its own as it did in canon without further echoes? it's a pretty useless latent skill to attempt to 'power boost' outside of a robot, since all the cool stuff like soul-projecting and hauling gigantic objects into orbit are kind of contingent on that.

Reason for Echo: anthony's story bears a striking resemblance to the general logistics of the hunt for laplace's box--a mysterious artifact, a god who can possess things/bestow powers, a person being killed for hiding it.
What is returned: the memory of laplace's box. not of what it is since that hasn't been revealed in canon yet, but just that it existed and it was something he was on the chase for.

What is returned: A snippet of memory - being in an infirmary when Anghel shows up, seeing Anghel, being called "Apostle of the Violet Rose", being the sort of person who sees someone show up bleeding in an infirmary and immediately thinks of what to do. Notably absent, because Anghel's presence can temporarily make everybirdie think they're human or humanoid: the fact that they are birds.

Reason for Echo: Flying in Chris's plane when that goes up, looking down at the ground.
Returned: One white contour feather six inches long, as an item.

What is returned: A vision of his zanpakutou spirit, triggering the cold-effect of his spiritual force.

What is returned: A memory of meeting his first vampire (a blonde named Akeldama) and being called "darling puppy" by him. (This is headcanon, since we are not actually shown this meeting in canon, but it fits Akeldama's character :D )

What is returned: The fact that werewolves cannot float/fly/move above the ground very high. He'll be getting very airsick....

Reason for Echo: Flying around in a Cessna
What is returned: Many, MANY memories of flying without a plane. The most significant ones are going to be of flying above an alien cityscape under a strange sky, and also flying through the blackness of space. Some memories will have her flanked by two F-15s or two alien spacecraft in very odd livery (dark blue, and then black and purple)

In addition, she'll have a more weirdly instinctive understanding of aircraft controls, enabling her to pull off tricks that normally only people with 20 years of intense military training can do.

Reason for Echo: Canon parallel in the plane flight with Chris
What is returned: The last part of Duelist Kingdom where Bakura and the rest of the main cast is crammed into the back of Kaiba's helicopter, leaving the island. Not remembering too much about the people in the flashback, only that he knews them and they just went though a pretty insane adventure and were victorious.

Reason for Echo: Explaining to Hijikata everything he knows about the current situation and what's going on - as Saitou was the one Hijikata entrusted with spy work and assorted shady stuff in canon, reporting back in such a manner to him was a thing that happened...often.
What is returned: The memory of Hijikata ordering him to spy on the Itou faction, complete with that massive feeling of gay loyalty to Hijikata that goes along with it.

Unfortunately, after some collaborative discussion, we think this Echo request may be a little too much. It actually seems like you're requesting for multiple, separate Echoes, which would all need to be processed separately (and are unlikely to result from just one occurrence in this case). In addition, the Energon conversion may be a little extreme this early on in the game given its potential.

I would suggest either granting her one of the memories, or the knowledge of Energon's existence and perhaps an initial step in its creation, but not both.
