Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: The memory of Optimus Prime. Not in full. Only that he served a commander by that name. That he was possibly the most important thing on the planet, the most vital part of the cause. That he would do anything for him. The loyalty to him. Basically the feelings and name associated with Optimus but no images or specific events.

Reason for Echo: Seeing Ratchet's physical echo (the arm) in this thread, after the buzzing intensifies.
Type and tier: 1 / memory
What is returned:
"I WAS A ROBOT." Yep. Seeing Ratchet's arm triggers the memory flash of his old body. He'll remember being huge and made of metal and guns.

For certainty's sake before a formal stamp, would zombification/entities with similarly death-ly appearances and/or natures have been a thing that Sandrath had a familiarity with (and, given the mentioned morbid bent, had not been fazed by)?

Yes, he has. He's dealt with a decomposing Rusalka (which he managed to piss off and nearly drowned himself, Artimus and his vessel in the process) and seen a grim reaper's abilities in action. As for the morbid mindset, Xander would probably not be bothered by it, but at the same time wonder where these thoughts are coming from.

What is returned: His ability to turn into a bat. Whereas it was instinctive for him to do so in his past life, it will not be instinctive for him now, and there will be a transition period for him to get it under control.

What is returned: the realization that Bakura Ryou's father did indeed just bring back a priceless ancient Egyptian artifact home. And it was the Sennen Ring. [Note: This is only directly stated in anime canon, but it makes sense in manga canon as well.]

Reason for Echo: Actually trying on 3DMG and pulling off those mad stunts with them like woaaah so cool wow.

What is returned: The memory of he and Bertholdt talking with Eren about their pasts, back when Eren was asking for advice on how to balance himself on his 3DMG. Ryan will remember a distinct twinge of fear from hearing how much Eren wanted to kill all the titans.
