Okay, given that it's very powerful, I'd also suggest that if/when she learns (via echoes) how to use it, it's in gradual increments so that she doesn't leap ahead of other characters too much in terms of power, or else that her ability to use it and the power of the thing itself both return concurrently (again via a series of echoes). Would that work for you?
