Echo Requests (retired)
Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.
When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.
As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.
Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

Reason for Echo: Seeing the lights
Type and tier: Tier 1; ability
What is returned: The 'Blue Blood Burns Blue' pin and its associated powers. He's going to have to figure out how to use it, though.
Reason for Echo: Checking out the buzzing
Type and tier: Tier 1; memory
What is returned: Memory of the build up to and his pact with Beat. He won't recall the circumstances, just that he was worried about not having a partner, some Reapers (whose faces he can't identify) giving him crap over, Beat showing up and saying something stupid, and then pacting. I can probably hunt down the conversation if you guys need it.
Reason for Echo: Canon reoccurance in response to people being creepily placid
Type and tier: Tier 2; memory & item
What is returned: No context, just a memory of people with glowing red eyes reciting, "To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, so this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world that would be..." Mostly he remembers that this is creepy as shit. He'll also get the red O-pin, and while he won't know the O-pin caused all that, he'll be pretty freaked out by it for unknown reasons.
Character: Pharos/Phillip Santorini
Reason for Echo: Shiny lights!
Type and tier: Tier 1; physical
What is returned: This is a little tricky to explain, but basically the 'feeling' of being a Shadow (probably best described as an aura here). He won't physically change
because wow are they vague about Shadows sometimes, but to Shadows and people who can sense non-human things he will ping very high on the radar.If that doesn't work, I can try and explain more or the same thing could probably be accomplished by just saying 'ok he's a Shadow now just with human emotions' and bumping this up to Tier 2.

On Phillip's, however, is there a certain aura/emanation/other such phenomenon associated with them in canon? If so that'll be solid - if not we'll stamp it as the proposed Tier 2 with a bit more detail on what becoming a Shadow might imply for him.

If we go the Tier 2 route (which might just be easier), what it would mean for Phillip right now is that he'd show up as non-human on other people's radar, if we ever get a Minako (or even Minato) he'll be MORE drawn to her/him than he would have been otherwise, and he'd been drawn to people with negative emotions. After this he'll starting Echoing back some of the lack of caring/emotion that comes from being a little tiny bit human buuuut mostly Shadow, but for now he'll still be cheerful little boy.
