Echo Requests
Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.
When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.
As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.
As of November 2014, Characters who have had their echoes for over a year can cause echoes in other people This is involuntary, cannot be controlled by either character and doesn't require a recurrence. The receiving character must have 15 echoes or less; they must be physically close to the other character; only tier 1 echoes can be caused that way; one cannot give themselves echoes. Both players must, of course, have consented to this oocly. A character can receive echoes through this mechanic no more than 10 times, and only up to 3 times from the same character. If requesting one of these echoes, please indicate the character from which the echo was received.
Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger, a person or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

Character: Winter Adamas | Rikka Hishikawa
Reason for Echo: Plot Echo: using Project Jump for the first time.
Type and tier: T1: Item
What is returned: A new Loveads! There's a picture of a baby's bottle on it. When used in her Commune, Winter gets... a baby's bottle. This is one of a series of Loveads that provide handy baby tools for the girls to raise Ai-chan, which are useless to Winter.
Reason for Echo: Plot Echo: A first meeting with the cultists, at the invite-only event.
Type and tier: T2 (August): Memory + Ability
What is returned: Cure Diamond's last unique ability (skipping one and coming back to it later), Diamond Blizzard. It comes in two flavors - the version used in the movie, which freezes something solid, and the version from the end of the TV show, which creates a massive diamond-shaped prism of ice, encasing everything inside... herself included. It's also a very strong purification skill, but that's likely not going to be her primary use, as Diamond's ice is pretty resistant to damage. It'll basically function as a perfect defense for a minute or two, in exchange for taking her out of the action. After a bit, the effect ends; it drops Diamond, who'll be extremely tired for a minute, but functional. Rikka ignores the usual things that should make using this kill her - namely being encased in ice and unable to breathe - because Precure logic.
I am giving her back the TV version first; I know she can use both, but this one's the version I'll show her first. And I do mean show - she'll also get back a memory of a tough fight somewhere, surrounded by what must be at least a hundred monsters. (Unknown to Winter, this is the final battle against King Selfishness, and she's inside its throat, covering for Mana, Makoto, and Regina, who have gone ahead.) Diamond's putting up a good fight, but she's just being overwhelmed. Still... something's driving her. Something that's enough to resonate with her power, and Diamond's body is covered in blue wisps, like the time Winter got knocked through a building in March. She pulls her Love Heart Arrow, and uses the Diamond Shower Loveads, but... this isn't the same. The power flowing through is enough for Winter to feel across space and time, and as the power fires, there's nothing for a moment, then a sharp feeling of... being suspended in something. Diamond smiles, then her eyes slide shut, and that's all Winter sees. Using this version of Diamond Blizzard requires Winter to be similarly driven, enough to have extra power (extra "love") to burn.
Reason for Echo: Post regarding dragons possibly existing in Vegas.
Type and tier: T1: Memory
What is returned: Dragons, you say? We fought one of those. Winter will see a glimpse of a fight between a massive dragon and her team, inside a cavern. The thing breathes fire, and it's stronger than they are; one by one, Diamond, Rosetta, Sword, and Ace are all picked off, despite their best efforts. It's Mana's sheer will that lets Heart push through, ignoring a flaming breath weapon and charging through to deliver a single, powerful punch - but she doesn't make it. Just before Heart makes contact, she suddenly stops, falling to the ground, and popping out of form once she hits. All Winter will know is Diamond shouting Mana's name and starting to run over before the memory ends.
