Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: A preliminary version of his unversed ability. Canonly, Vanitas' feelings are linked to his ability to make Unversed. Negativity or Darkness spawns various creatures.
For his echo, drinking the water will make his shadow move or appear to have eyes when he has negative feelings. But wont yet be able to form anything, just general creepiness of his shadow moving/twitching on it's own and sometimes glowing red eyes.

What is returned: The blurry memory of a promise once made to a blond-haired girl. After getting subtle, brief flashes of her, his actual encounter with Naminé confirms the vague sensation he's got to protect her no matter what, a feeling abstract enough that it'll confuse the hell out of him.

To clarify before we stamp formal approval, will the memory include an encounter with Namine that will accordingly come with sensation of the need to protect her, or will he have a run-in with Namine's reincarnation that'll produce a second Echo?

Reason for Echo: He tried so hard to avoid drinking tap water, and then he spent some time in the sauna, which was full of steam from tap water and breathed it instead.
What is returned: Just one second of memory, of him chopping an orc's head off with his bladestaff. He was in a stone castle, the skies were dark and stormy, he was wearing armor, and there were hundreds more orcs coming up behind it.

Reason for Echo: Drinking tap water, despite the warnings.
What is returned: Drunken recollections of a party at the Hakurei shrine, leaving her with names and faces of a few of her friends in her past life. Let's say Reimu, Alice, Cirno, Yuyuko and Youmu. She'd be able to recognize them on the street, but couldn't tell you anything about them besides their name and that they were at the party.

What is returned: A memory that this is not the first time he's been exceedingly unenthusiastic by mind control revelations and their applications. He will only recall that he was arguing with someone who may have looked vaguely like Tavia (as well as someone else chiming in, but he won't get anything else on them), and the following bit:

It won't be any specific conversation with her, just a general sense of who she was and that she was obnoxious and he considered her an enemy of sorts. Though he won't know why he considered her an enemy and think that a rather strong reaction when she just seems annoying.

What is returned: A memory of her putting her hand on someone's shoulder and saying, "Hey, Doctor Boy." Her hand is very quickly (and uncomfortably) shaken off. She doesn't know whose shoulder it is or why she sounds so flirtatious, but she can remember it happening now. (Mort is the STE reincarnation of Kiyoto Maki, the doctor she is referring to, if that makes the parallel any clearer.)

What is returned: This one is actually four Echoes, but I'm putting them all here since the triggers happened in the same thread all within short order.

1.) Vague familiarity with the Special Ops Cell Go-Busters and their lineup by codename--Red Buster, Blue Buster, Yellow Buster, Beet Buster, Stag Buster--and a feeling that he's dealt with them before, though he won't be sure of the capacity this was in.

2.) A passing familiarity with and basic technical understanding of Buddyroids, Buster Machines, and Megazords to boot--the robot types in Go-Busters, all mentioned by Akagi--but he won't know about their power source, and he won't recall any of the specific Buddyroids (apart from Stag Buster) or Buster Machines other than CB-01 Ace mentioned by Akagi within the thread.

3.) Furthermore, he'll know what an "Avatar" is--a holographic projected body of a person or AI located elsewhere, but he won't have a deeper recollection of what this means for him or the fact that he often took that form.

4.) The mention of the Go-Busters' conflict with an AI trying to take over the world would return a memory of his own voice, saying "All is as my Majesté, Messiah, has intended." referring to one of said AI.

In closing? Damn it, Akagi.


Reason for Echo: Canon recurrence! This thread with Calista, where Cain (briefly) expresses concern for Calista and tells her to be careful.
What is returned: The memory of pulling a woman--Calista's preincarnation, Escape--out of the way of some kind of mortal danger. He won't remember specifics beyond that for the situation, save for this exchange with her:

"Enter... why?"
"I'm not sure myself. But if possible, I would prefer not to lose you."

If at all possible, I'd like this to be accompanied by a strong desire to keep Calista safe.
