Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

Reason for Echo: Isaac and Miria's introduction (their names in particular).

What is returned: Isaac Dian and Miria Harvent were prominent characters in Czeslaw Meyer's lives (they were like the turning points of his fate because they're A++), so learning their names will give him a memory of an interestingly dressed couple introducing themselves by the same name followed by an unfamiliar version of himself (Czes) giving out the name "Czeslaw Meyer."

What is returned: The memory of pages 18 to 28 without words and without the presence of Reiner and Eren, though she can logically conclude that there must be more people around in the memory since she is talking to someone else in addition to Bertholdt:
Bertholdt managing to carry a second person with their 3DMG, her threatening Bertholdt under risk of her own life, the knowledge that "Historia" is coming for her, being surrounded by giant trees, and that something about all of this caused her strong, conflicting feelings and brought her close to tears.


Reason for Echo: Blood Keys encounter
Type and tier: Item, tier 2
What is returned: Her 3DMG & her trainee uniform. Both already on her. (Is this possible? Like, the uniform would replace the clothes that she wore before...)

Reason for Echo: Using the 3DMG for the first time.
Type and tier: Memory 1
What is returned: More or less connected memories of what she saw from start to end while moving towards the supply house in Trost using her gear: The houses, streets and the walls in the distance; those trainees that were somewhat with her, and that they wore the uniform with the crossed swords; titans eating people and being slewn. From the angle of the memory, it would be obvious that she was moving with the help of the gear as well.

Reason for Echo: Julien losing the last person he looks up to and might personally consider an authority figure. (Aaron's still around, but thanks to de-networking he's demoted to "person I care about and have to help and protect" - he wanted to lean on Aaron if things got as bad as he fears, but now believes he can't or shouldn't) Followed by the strongly emotional thought that no one's going to be there for me, I have to do this alone, basically.

It's a recurrence! Yuuya saw all his authority figures killed or made helpless early in his childhood, and must have had a similar realization.
Type and tier: Mental, Tier 1.
What is returned: Reinforcement of that thought. No one will swoop in and make it better for him, no one will always stand by him. In the end he's got to face a lot of things alone. He has to do it. He can do it.

Reason for Echo: Helping with Blaine's rescue mission. He'll not encounter any snakes, but Yuuya's very used to search-and-rescue missions, so, recurrence!
Type and tier: Mental, Tier 1.
What is returned: Yuuya's weird calm in (most) emergency situations, which has helped in such missions. It can be shaken, but it's very difficult; otherwise he can generally keep cool and focus, and save most reaction for later?

Hostage tries to strangle him? "...sorry, did I scare you?" Monster picks up on his most terrible secret? "That has nothing to do with the fact that you're in my way." Takes a tank shell for someone and is horribly burned? "Are you okay?" Accused of the murder of someone whose body he cut up? Stay relaxed-looking.

In regards to the first request, however, Aaron has forgotten the network before - and it did provide Julien for an Echo trigger! To clarify, in what way would he interpret this instance as different from the first enough to induce another Echo?
