Please fill out this form when requesting an Echo, then post it to this entry. The request will be dealt with as soon as possible.

When requesting an Echo induced by a past-life parallel/recurrence, please demonstrate clearly the similarity between the events, as well as the relation between the events and what is returned.

As of September 2013, Tier 2 Echoes can be granted once a month per character. Take care to specify the limitations and/or level of detail to the Echo requested! If you are unsure, suggestions will be gladly offered.

Reason for Echo: What caused the Echo, whether it be by a plot-related trigger or a canon recurrence. For the latter, this must be unusual enough to have been the first time the character has encountered it within Locke City, and strongly resemble a specific event from canon. Picking up a jug of milk from the store will not cause an Echo if it isn't any different than the times the character has done it before.
Type and tier: Physical change, power/ability, mental/memory, or item/creature. Tier 1 are the regular Echoes, and are typically a single memory/ability/item/etc. Tier 2 are essentially two regular Echoes rolled into one, such as an item and a memory or ability associated with it, or two directly-related memories, or so on. Currently only one Tier 2 Echo is allowed per month, so please be sure to note them somehow on your info posts.
What is returned: In the case of canon recurrences, these must be directly related to what has caused the Echo. Stronger recurrences = stronger Echoes.

What is returned: The mantra "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" which aids her in focusing her powers, and a strengthening of her soul-self--now enabling her to create constructs and move much more weight than before. She can't, say, fling a bus, but she should be able to pick someone up, create a disk to carry herself and one or two other people on, etc.

Still, of course, prone to involuntary flareups with her emotional state.

This will allow Chris to use her limbs again. She won't be able to produce this stuff in massive bulk yet, as she'll still be learning how to make it and won't have a giant processing facility (... obviously) and thus will have to husband her store of the stuff very, very carefully. Using her flight powers or her guns creates a massive drain, will use a LOT of energy, and will likely leave her exhausted, so don't expect her to be jetting around the city Superman-like or firing off her lasers willy-nilly.

What is returned: The ability to manifest his sword from thin air. In reality, he's expressing part of his power as a zanpakutou. He IS the sword, and as such, can make his blade form appear when he needs it. It's still tiny and sad though.

Reason for Echo: Canon recurrence at Rachel's party

What is returned: Upon seeing Rachel hulk out on the vermaxi and unleash her powers like that for the first time, Brooke is stricken with a terror down to her bones, more than should be reasonable. She knows now that Rachel's power is dangerous and very worth being afraid of. Fear is the emotion most strongly associated with a moment in her past life, when she saw Raven unleash the full extent of her powers on a similar manmade monster. She was lying in wait to kill Raven at the time, and when Raven unleashed her powers like that, it made Terra realize that maybe she wouldn't be getting out of this one alive. (She was wrong, but still.)

What is returned: More Sburb bestiary! Ogres are basically huge giant assholes that are built like a brick shithouse, not unlike the Vermaxi. Mac will remember that Ogres were definitely a thing, and he will remember having fought them before.

Reason for Echo: Vermaxi Plot Echo!

What is returned: THE POGO HAMMER, which is a spring-loaded sledgehammer with a Japanese Slimer ripoff from Ghostbusters adorning the top. the springs are powerful enough to send a medium sized child (aka: John) skyward uncontrollably. Mac can use it to spring himself into the air, though probably not with as much force.

We apologize for the inconvenience - however, two Echoes cannot be induced simultaneously by a single trigger except for in the event of a Tier 2 Echo; might there be a preference for one Echo or the other? Or might there be something else about the Vermaxi attack that might trigger Mac's memories of his time as John apart from the appearance of the Vermaxi itself?

Yes, he would have spilled stuff on him before, but the fact that he was previously a cannibal who ate raw flesh makes me think he might Echo from this since he bit into it and got it on his hands and down his chin?

What is returned: The memory of a a monster devouring something. It won't be a clear memory, he won't really be able to remember what Hayagriva looks like, but just the memory of a monster devouring something that maybe probably was probably human.

Reason for Echo: seeing the vermaxi, which, from how I'm envisioning it, bears a pretty strong resemblance to a ghost Danny knew. (Let me know if the vermaxi looks too different for this to work, though!)

What is returned: memories of Wulf--in particular, his name, appearance, and knowledge that he was an ally. Also, spoke only Esperanto. Danny particularly would remember that Wulf used to call him "mi amiko."

What is returned: Rita's blastia collar - a gold choker with a magic crystal over her throat. Given that it's what allows her to channel (most of her) formulas into spells, it's a Tier 2 by itself.

Before we formally stamp our approval, with a blastia collar, what'd it take for Britany to spellcast - for example a certain amount of practice, or future memory of a certain procedure? If in theory she ought to be able to begin casting spells as soon as she likes, what sorts of spells would she already have at her disposal through the formulas she's acquired?

Reason for Echo: okay, so i have some catching up to do, because colette would have been around for these things even if i myself was not! i'm just going with the plot related ones, so the tuning towers, the snakes and the dead district, and the vermaxi if i am not mistaken! so this shall be three echoes.
Type and tier: all three will be tier one echoes, two memory and one ability.
What is returned: firstly, the memory of the small town of iselia and having lived there. the small school house, the church of martel, all the components of the town and remembering it as someone who would have spent their entire childhood there. secondly, the memories of the human ranches and how humans were cooped up and used for experimental purposes. thirdly, and lastly, she'll be regaining her wings which includes popping them in and out at will, as well as the ability to fly. this will only be in short distances and only about the height of a building of a few stories as she gets used to it, and so it's not abused!
